Automatic Indexing of emails
In Mailsafe rules can be set up to automatically index/tag email addresses or domain names.
As emails are sent or received they are automatically matched against the rules and where a match occurs the index/tagging data is applied. For example, all emails to and from bill.gates@microsoft.com are always tagged as Client Name: Microsoft, Client Number: MIC1234.
This process does not interrupt or affect the normal flow of emails in and out of Exchange and is a very efficient method of filing emails as a background process, without any effort at all by users.
Manual tagging of emails is virtually eliminated when using Auto Indexing and no emails are missed or incorrectly indexed. All of Mailsafe’s fast searching and viewing facilities are available, including the ‘keyboard hook’ with your Practice Management software.
Automatic indexing is a constant background process and is only available with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2007/2003/2000.
